Meet Tim Threadgill, LPC
Founder | Licensed Professional Counselor | Behavioral Health Consultant
Helping People Feel Heard, Gain Insight, and Move Toward Meaningful Change.
Looking back, becoming a therapist wasn't simply a career choice—it became a calling. Throughout my life, I was often the person friends turned to during difficult times. Whether they needed someone to listen, offer perspective, or simply be present, helping others always came naturally.
That passion has only grown through both personal and professional experiences. Watching family members and close friends navigate mental health and substance use challenges strengthened my belief that every person deserves compassion, understanding, and the opportunity to feel heard.
For more than 20 years, I've had the privilege of helping people in education and behavioral health. My experience spans schools, correctional settings, emergency psychiatric services, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and behavioral health leadership. Although I enjoy working with people of all ages, I have a special passion for helping transition-aged youth (18–24) navigate one of life's most transformative seasons.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy should be client-led. You're in the driver's seat because it's your life and your journey. My role is to walk alongside you—offering perspective, effective tools, and support as you work toward the goals that matter most to you.
I often tell clients that if they feel stuck in the mud, I'll get down in the mud with them, and together we'll find a way forward. My goal isn't to tell you what to do—it's to help you better understand yourself, increase self-awareness, and make informed decisions that lead to meaningful, lasting change.

What I Believe
I believe every therapist plays a different role in a person's journey. Some of us plant the seed, others nurture growth, and others have the privilege of seeing the flower bloom. No single therapist completes the entire journey, but every role is meaningful.
Wherever someone is in their story when we meet, I consider it an honor to walk alongside them during that season of their life. My Christian faith influences the compassion, integrity, and hope I strive to bring to my work while honoring each client's individual beliefs and values.
Beyond the Office
When I'm not working, you'll often find me spending time with family and friends, cooking, watching Tampa Bay Buccaneers football, boxing or MMA, or listening to old-school hip-hop, neo-soul, and jazz. Spending time with the people and activities I enjoy helps keep me grounded.
My Hope
Above all, I want every person who walks through my door to feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported. My hope is that each client leaves therapy with greater insight, renewed confidence, and practical tools they can carry with them long after our work together.
"Therapy isn't about giving you the answers. It's about helping you discover the answers that already align with who you are."
When You’re Ready
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me and my approach to therapy. If what you've read resonates with you, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as we work together toward greater insight, healing, and meaningful change. Whether you're facing a difficult season or simply looking for a place to be heard, I'd welcome the opportunity to be part of your journey.
